Hi! Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Karie. I'm a mother of 2 college graduates and a wife of 25 years. Until seven years ago, I worked for the same company for 22 years, where I was a publicist, marketing and promoting movies! Dream job! Unfortunately, due to budget cuts, I was one of the casualties of companywide layoffs. So then, I consulted with various companies, and now I work for one of the top Award shows in the world. I seriously love what I do.

So, I figured I was not busy enough. Why not start a blog? I've been cooking up a storm, doing DIY projects around the house, reading (of course), and spending quality time with the family. Oh, one more thing: I went back to school to get my college degree before my kids could get theirs! I should also mention that we love the ocean, anything beach related. We're constantly outdoors and looking for fun. (Hence the website name Seas Of Love!)

When I was laid off, my kids loved that I was home as I was always trying out a new recipe. So, I figured I might as well share what I was doing with others. Who knows....maybe no one will read this, or perhaps someone will, and I can make their day just a bit brighter.
